How does telehealth physical therapy work?
Our telehealth physical therapy sessions are conducted via a secure, high-definition video platform.
Your therapist performs a comprehensive assessment including full body strength testing, balance assessment, and special testing, to create an individual, personalized program to begin your recovery journey.
Assessments are highly-detailed 2 hour appointments, much more in-depth than what you have probably had in the past. Even day one, you get a full treatment with the exam.
We work with the equipment that you have available at home and can make recommendations for additional equipment based on your needs and budget. Almost any level of rehab can be done with body weight, an exercise band, and a water bottle!
After each treatment, your exercises will be emailed to you, and we will schedule 1 hour follow-up appointments to work towards your plan. They will always be 1:1 with a doctor of physical therapy.
How much does it cost?
Consultation FREE (15 minute)
Initial assessments $500 (2 hour, full-body assessment)
Follow-up treatments $300 (1 hour)
All visits are always preformed by a doctor of physical therapy, completely 1:1. No aids, no patient stacking every 15 minutes.
Our complementary consolation is a chance for you to ask questions and let us know about your history to determine if our clinic is a good fit. It is not a requirement to begin physical therapy.
10 visit packages are also available for $2500
Will my insurance cover telehealth physical therapy?
Many major insurance providers now offer specific coverage for telehealth physical therapy services. We recommend contacting your provider to verify your specific plan details. We do not handle insurance directly, but we will provide professional superbills to facilitate out-of-network reimbursement requests. If you have Medicare, you may be eligible for treatment by us, but you can not be reimbursed.
Can I do my viritual appointment from anywhere?
You can be anywhere in California during your visit. We are not licensed to provide medical care outside of California.
What is your cancellation and no-show policy?
All visits are paid for upon scheduling. If you cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment we offer a full refund or reschedule. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or are a no-show we do not offer a refund. This helps us continue to provide excellent care and dedicated 1:1 time with our patients.
10 visit packages are non-refundable but can be used at any time for a follow-up treatment without expiration (even for a different problem).
